NIMCET Result- Tie Breaking Method

While preparing NIMCET Result, sometimes a situation comes in which two candidates score same marks which creates obstacle in preparing result. So, to make sure that result is fluent and clear, tie breaking criteria is used to break the tie. Rules of tie breaking method are mentioned in the pointers section below:

• If two or more students are found out with same marks then at first in tie breaking criteria, candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be considered.
• If then as well tie is not able to be break then in second method, students scoring higher marks in analytical ability and logical reasoning will be preferred over other(s).
• If then as well tie is not broke then in third method preference will be given to the students with higher marks in computer awareness.
• If at last all above mentioned rules are not able to break tie then, applicant with older age will be considered for higher rank.

NIMCET 2020- Answer Key

Answer key of NIMCET 2020 will be released (when announced) online on official site of NIMCET. NIMCET Answer Key was announced on 23 November, 2020 at 12:30 PM (IST). Applicants can check answer key with their login ID. Students are given an option by authority of putting up objection against answer key released. Candidates can raise their objections from 24 November, 2020 and will last till 26 November, 2020. If students are intended to raise their objection against NIMCET Answer Key 2020 then they can do so by paying fees of Rs. 1000 for each candidate. Fee can be paid online as well.

NIMCET Counselling 2020

NIMCET exam 2020 was conducted on 22 October 2020. Then after exam was conducted, NIMCET 2020 Result will be out on 6 November, 2020, which shows that result will be out soon in coming days. So, that now result day is near, candidates are equally waiting for counselling process to start as well which will be commenced right after announcement of NIMCET Result 2020.

Students can register for counselling process from official site of NIMCET. After registration students have to pay fee then only they will be officially a participant of counselling process. Students must remember that only selected candidates trough NIMCET result will be able to participate in counselling process and can go further with seat allotment rounds. Students are also informed that this year counselling session will be organized online. Selected aspirants will be allotted seats on basis of their rank, availability of seats and their choice filling and locking.

Counselling Process Includes Following Steps

• First of all, candidates have to register for counselling process.
• Selected applicants can register for NIMCET Counselling 2020 through official site of NIMCET.
• In registration process selected candidates have to fill and lock their choices.
• You can lock as much choices as you can but at the end you can only apply for one.
• After locking your choices, you have pay registration fees for completion of your counselling registration process.
• After payment of fees, seat allotment results will decide seats and institutes of selected candidates.

Steps to Download NIMCET Result 2020

• First of all in first step, visit official site of National Institute of Technology (nitdgp.ac.in).

• After reaching official site of NIT, in homepage reach notification section of homepage.
• In notification section you will find a link named “NIMCET Result 2020” (once announced).
• Click on that link.
• After clicking on that link you will reach a login page.
• In login page fill all required details in text fields provided.
• After filling all details correctly click on submit button to continue.
• Your NIMCET 2020 Result will appear on your screen.
• Check all details correctly which includes- Roll number, exam date, admit card number, name, marks obtained in total, marks obtained in each subject and all other details as well, and then download your result.
• After downloading your result, make sure to print it out for future references.
